We are the Tranmere Rovers Junior Media Team!
The first of its kind in the country, the TRFC Junior Media Team is made up of 9-13 year old junior supporters who get an exclusive opportunity to work behind the scenes at a football club! Please visit www.juniorsuperwhites.com/application if you would like to be on the team for this season!
We work with the Club's official media partners, hi-impact, as well as the official press team and the official photographer to learn sports journalism, interview techniques, pitchside photography, match reporting, vlogging and green screen filming! We have ACCESS ALL AREAS at Prenton Park - we get to sit at pitchside with DSLR cameras, up in the press box with the best view of the pitch, and even get to ask questions of the manager in the interview room after games!
Following the completion of the course, all our team members receive signed certificates at a mini graduation presentation hosted by Mark and Nicola Palios, which our parents can attend.
Some feedback from this exclusive course:
"It has increased my self confidence and helped with my school work" Dylan
"Following the workshops my child has turned our bathroom in to a Green Screen studio!"
"My Son has conducted endless interviews with me - I've been everyone from the Chairman to the coach driver!".
"H's been talking about doing A level media studies since the course, so that just shows the scale of the impact it's had on him."
We would like to thank the following people for their invaluable assistance in running the Junior Media Team:
